Creston College Grade 5 class is all fired up!

 In Facebook

On Friday 27th July, the Grade 5 pupils had a visit from the Port Shepstone Fire, rescue and disaster department. The pupils are currently learning about fire safety and the burning triangle in both their Natural Science and Life skills lessons. This proved a much better classroom and who better to teach them than the experts! The children were enthralled and learned all about different types of fires as well as how to put them out. They were even allowed to use the fire engines hose!

A very special thank you to Mr. Le Roux for giving such an interesting talk and showing the children all the equipment. The Grade 5s would also like to thank the fire department for all the work that they do and for placing their lives on the line for our safety.
